ETIX, a European-born data center operator with a strong presence in Asia, has announced the commercial deployment of Thailand’s first next-generation GPU systems at its Bangkok data center campus.

This milestone reinforces ETIX’s position as a trusted infrastructure partner for AI workloads in Southeast Asia. The GPUs were installed and operated by one of ETIX’s global partners, further validating the strength of ETIX’s platform. With ultra-high density capabilities and readiness for AI-scale power and cooling, ETIX is uniquely positioned to support AI leaders looking to expand in the region.

First in Thailand: Next-Generation GPUs Go Live

As hyperscalers and enterprises across Asia prepare their infrastructure for the AI era, ETIX Bangkok becomes the first facility in Thailand to support the live deployment of next-generation GPU clusters.

The systems, deployed at ETIX BKK#1, operate at an ultra-high density of 132 kW per rack — more than 30× the density of traditional racks. This leap requires advanced power delivery, building design, and flexible cooling technologies such as liquid and immersion.

“This marks more than a technical deployment — it’s a pivotal moment for Thailand’s digital infrastructure,” said Pierre Patris, CEO Asia at ETIX Everywhere. “Our global AI partner chose ETIX as their platform of choice, recognizing our readiness to host the most advanced GPU architectures available today.”

While similar AI deployments exist in regional hubs such as Singapore, this marks Thailand’s first commercial deployment of its kind — an important signal of the country’s growing role in the AI and cloud ecosystem.

Thailand was selected for this deployment based on several strategic advantages:

  • A stable and reliable national power grid
  • Attractive government incentives including tax breaks, full foreign ownership, and fast-track project approvals
  • Strong connectivity and growing demand for AI-ready infrastructure

These factors make Thailand one of the most favorable locations for GPU and AI infrastructure deployment in Southeast Asia.

The current deployment is located at ETIX BKK#1, and the newly launched ETIX BKK#2 is also fully capable of supporting GPU clusters when required. Both facilities have been engineered to meet the stringent demands of modern compute infrastructure.
