Central Pattaya shopping center is reinforcing its position as a world-class beachfront landmark and a “Place For All” by partnering with key public and private entities—including Pattaya City, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office, the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association, and the Marine Department Pattaya Branch—to launch the first-ever “Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026.” The event will take place from August 27 to 31, 2026, directly on Pattaya Beach in front of Central Pattaya.
Guided by the concept “From Sand to Art, From Art to a Landmark,” the festival transforms the seaside landscape into dynamic Sand Art Installations. By integrating art, beach ambiance, entertainment, and visual technology, the initiative aims to elevate Pattaya into a globally recognized Art & Experience Destination.
Visitors can explore 4 major highlights throughout the festival:
- 5 Sand Sculptures: Landmark-scale sand art installations showcasing the distinctive identity of Pattaya alongside cultural themes from Thailand’s four regions.
- Immersive Sand Art Mapping: Visual storytelling projected onto sand art with lighting and sound effects, running twice daily at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
- Sand Illuminated: A seaside Light & Sound performance running twice daily at 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Sand in a Bottle: Creative DIY workshop sessions allowing tourists to craft personalized sand souvenirs.
This new destination experience forms a key part of Central Pattaya’s year-round festive calendar designed to drive international tourism and support the local economy. It joins well-known regional events including the Pattaya International Kite On The Beach, the 10th edition of Pattaya International Bikini Beach Race 2026, Central Pattaya Songkran Wanlai Festival 2569, Pattaya International Pride Festival, and the Central Pattaya Countdown.
Attendees who take photos, check in at the Sand Art Installations, and share their posts on social media will also stand a chance to win gift vouchers from participating brands, including Hug Craft, Benjarong, GOOD GOODS, The Pizza Company, Kum Poon, Jiancha, and KOI Thé. The festival runs from August 27 to 31, 2026, along Pattaya Beach in front of Central Pattaya.
