BANGKOK, Thailand – BYD HYROX Bangkok concluded in grand fashion at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), making history as the largest HYROX event ever held in Asia. The event was powered by BYD, serving as the Title Partner for the second consecutive year.
Held over four days from August 13–16, 2026, the race gathered more than 20,000 athletes from over 60 countries, with international participants accounting for 29%. Demonstrating the sport’s high engagement, approximately two-thirds of the contenders were returning athletes, alongside thousands of first-timers taking on the challenge.
Embodying the “Fitness Racing for Everybody” ethos, the competition offered standardized divisions across Singles, Doubles, Relay, and Adaptive categories. This global benchmark format mirrors the rapid rise of Thailand’s fitness racing landscape, which now boasts over 180 affiliated HYROX Training Clubs nationwide.
The event also served as a premier battleground for qualifiers aiming for the 2027 PUMA HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong, scheduled for June 10–13, 2027. Top podium finishers included:
- HYROX Pro Men: Dexter Buchanan (New Zealand) – 55:49

- HYROX Pro Doubles Men: Hong Beomseok & Noh Seunghun (South Korea) – 52:18
