Unitree Robotics Launches STAR Market IPO as Investor Demand Surges to Record Highs

ยูนิทรี โรโบติกส์ เปิดจอง IPO บน STAR Market ดันมูลค่าระดมทุนแตะ 6.1 พันล้านหยวน

Unitree Robotics, a leading Chinese robotics manufacturer based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has officially opened subscription for its initial public offering (IPO) on the science and technology innovation board, known as the STAR Market, at the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Off-line price inquiries revealed immense interest among institutional investors. Unitree is offering 40,446,434 shares at a price of 150.80 yuan (approximately $21) per share, representing 10% of its post-issuance total share capital. The offering is expected to raise nearly 6.1 billion yuan (approximately $850 million).

Demonstrating extraordinary market demand, valid off-line subscriptions reached 71.4 billion shares after excluding non-compliant and highest-priced bids. This resulted in an off-line oversubscription rate of 2,760.67 times the initial off-line allocation prior to strategic placement.

According to its prospectus, Unitree specializes in the development, production, and sales of high-performance general-purpose humanoid and quadruped robots, key robotic components, and physical AI models. The company’s core technical expertise encompasses main robotic parts, motion control systems, and perception technologies.

The prospectus highlights strong operational scaling, showing that Unitree sold 33,294 quadruped robots and 5,632 humanoid robots between 2023 and 2025. Notably, humanoid robot deliveries exceeded 5,500 units in 2025 alone, excluding wheeled dual-arm robots. This market entry follows official approval of Unitree’s IPO application by China’s securities regulator on July 1.
