SpaceX has officially rolled out online orders for its Starlink satellite internet services in Vietnam, offering flexible, contract-free connectivity. Customers can take advantage of a 30-day trial period, with hardware kits scheduled for delivery within one to two weeks.
Residential subscription plans start at approximately 1.13 million Vietnamese dong (around 1,436 THB) per month. For enterprise and business clients, service charges are based on data consumption, with hardware kits sold separately starting from roughly 8.65 million Vietnamese dong (around 10,990 THB).
The commercial rollout follows official licensing by Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology in February. Starlink is set to operate initially with four ground gateway stations and capacity for up to 600,000 user terminals. The service aims to bridge connectivity gaps by delivering reliable broadband across maritime routes, in-flight environments, and remote or sparsely populated regions where terrestrial fixed-line and mobile networks face deployment challenges.
